I travel the world and interview people for a living. My work relies on serendipity, a sense of humor, and of course, delayed planes.

I’m a solo traveler, journalist, and stand-up paddleboard enthusiast. But most of all, I love a good multi-month romp abroad. My expat homes are scattered across Western Europe. Since age 10, I’ve lived in the west coast of Ireland, Cambridge, England, central London, and Florence, Italy.

This past summer, I ditched New York City for New Mexico to intern at Outside magazine. In the southwest, I dialed into adventure sports, worked on the launch of Outside magazine’s new website, and very nearly got eaten by a mountain lion.

I currently live in Mallorca, Spain, in the Balearic Islands where I’m travel writing, teaching English, and learning to surf. I’m a contributor for Outside magazine, a freelance web editor for SHAPE magazine, deputy editor for Lost Girls World. I’ve written and reported for former CBS Travel correspondent Peter Greenberg, The Huffington Post‘s travel section, Oyster Hotel Reviews, Travel Squire magazine, City Path, The Mayo News, The Daily Orange, and several other publications. I have a degree in magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University.
